About our school

The first La Perouse Public School was opened in 1868. The school is well established with an experienced staff and well informed community. La Perouse Public School possesses a unique feeling of warmth and concern for its students, staff, parents and community.

The school's aim is to equip students with the social and academic skills which will enable them to enjoy a happy and fulfilling future.

The school specialises in programs catering to meet the needs of all students. Strong links with the community assist with the implementation of curriculum across all key learning areas.

The enthusiastic, caring staff place a strong emphasis on individual needs and actively promote the development of self-motivated learners who behave with consideration and mutual respect for all.
